Hi there Jim!

Could you provide some information here? With this it's hard to tell what's going on.

- Which version of the Elastic Stack are you using?
- What's currently in the search / filter bar at the top of the page?
- Are there any errors on the server you could share with us?
- Are all searches failing or something in particular makes it fail?

Thanks for the additional information.

I've done some digging and this may be an issue with authentication. Some questions:

- Are you using Security? (do you have to login to Kibana)
  - If so, can you try clearing your browser's cookies or logging in with a Incognito window?
  - Are you using a user with limited permissions?

- If you're using Kibana Spaces, does this happen in every space or only some spaces?

Let me know if clearing the cookies / using an incognito window helps. If not, there may be more things we can try.
