Why does ECE require this particular version? What can go wrong with 1.13 or 17.09 version?

Hi there,
the main reason why we recommend only 1.11 is because we tested it on all supported Linux distributives and quite confident that Elastic Cloud Enterprise works well on them. Of course, we research the possibility of using later versions of Docker and might support them in the future. [Here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/cloud-enterprise/current/ece-prereqs.html#ece-prereqs-software) you can find a few recommendations for those who intend to use Docker 1.12+.

Yuri, thanks for your replay! It looks I've missed that part while looking around reference.

There is also article [Memory Issues We'll Remember](https://www.elastic.co/blog/memory-issues-well-remember) from Elastic's Engineering Blog which throw some light on issue with Docker and Kernel versions.
