# Does Backing Up your Cluster update automatically?

PUT \_snapshot/my\_backup/snapshot\_2{  
"indices": "myindex"}

I am using backing up cluster. I want to update my backup index when my table update in MYSQL JDBC or every 10seconds.So,if my  
original data get corrupt or some problem i can restore it.

Backups are not automatic.

Cron, or some other scheduling mechanism will do it.
