# Does Logstash Kafka Plugin support Azure Managed Identity Authentication

Currently, does the Logstash Kafka Plugin support Azure Managed Identity Authentication for Event Hubs Kafka Endpoint? According to this article [https://www.elastic.co/blog/ingest-data-azure-event-hub-entra-id?ref=dailydev](https://www.elastic.co/blog/ingest-data-azure-event-hub-entra-id?ref=dailydev) client credentials authentication is supported for the Event Hubs Kafka. However, is there any supported implementation for Azure Managed identity Authentication?
