# Does logstash work on windows server 2012 R2

I am using logstash in my laptop which is having windows 10. it is working fine.
same logstash folder i copied to a windows server 2012 R2 machine and then when i try to start logstash it gives below error.
i have installed java also. Please help
unable to find JRuby.
If you are a user, this is a bug.
If your are a developer, please run 'rake bootstrap'. Running 'rake ' requires the 'ruby' program be available.
