# Does metricbeat Redis output support Redis Stream?

The above link says that we can use Redis as an output for metricbeat.
But it seems the Redis stream is not supported. [Configure the Redis output | Metricbeat Reference [8.1] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/current/redis-output.html#_datatype)
Please confirm if we can use Redis Stream as metricbeat output.
