Can anyone confirm the necessity of storing \_source in the source indices in order to make Reindex From Remote work successfully? Is storing \_source required or not for Reindex From Remote?

Cheers!

The docs aren't clear on that, so I've created [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/35062](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/35062)

Thanks! That's what I needed. Unfortunately, it's bad news but at least it's clear bad news.
