# Does snapshot and restore has history logs?

Hi Elasticsearch Team!
Just want to ask if Elasticsearch does have History logs for the restore, where we can see the details used on that restore? Like, if we restore the snapshot, can we see what snapshot name used on the restore operation?

No, but this is coming in 8.4.0:
