# Does the elastic agent contain winlogbeat?

Hi

When looking at event logs shipped from elastic agent 7.14.0 the `agent.type` is `filebeat`. So is the elastic agent actually using winlogbeat?  
If not, does the used filebeat have feature parity with winlogbeat?

Yes Elastic Agent now uses filebeat to provide the same functionality of winlogbeat.
