The Maps App has an X-pack tag in the documentation, indicating that it requires X-pack, however,
I can not find any mention of it on the subscriptions page or in the documentation. Any chance you can shed some details on whether the Maps App requires subscriptions, or, what the different levels of subscription will provide.

Maps app is available with a basic (free) license, so I think that is why it is not mentioned on the subscription page.

It is mentioned in the [subscriptions page](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions) if you expand `Explore and Visualize` under the Kibana section:

The same applies for other features to check which part of license they require 🙂

Thanks, somehow it didn't occur to me that I should click to expand the section.👓
