hi all,

I am wondering whether the shutdown api is blocking or not.

curl -XPOST '[http://localhost:9200/\_shutdown](http://localhost:9200/_shutdown)'

I need the blocking shutdown api to know the process does shutdown.

Any ideas?

Ivan

BTW, does this API confirm the data consistency?

That is, when I post one large document and then shutdown the server, does
this operation operate normally?

Best,

Ivan
