# Does "track\_total\_hits" affect "max\_score" calculation?

If I setup `track_total_hits:1` in a \_search query, it only tracks one document, then how about the `max_score`, will it be accurate or just approx?  
I tried some. It looks like the "max\_score" is still accurate. Is that correct?
