# Doing Math over count of events

Is there any other way of doing this percentage calculation? Like using the scripted field or in the logstash config,

I dont want to change anything in the logstash config though just for this calculation, i want to understand the Maths basics of kibana because there will be lot of requirements like this coming in future.
