# Doing nothing and CPU: 8% user, 10% system

Hi,

I am wondering why ES is using 20% of my CPU, even when alone, empty and  
doing nothing ?

It was because of the leap second with the JVM

service ntpd stop  
date -s "`date`"  
service ntpd start

Now it works great.
