# Don't see logs in kibana stack montoring

Check if the var.paths setting [points to JSON logs]

Here is my elasticsearch.yml (Filebeat -elasticsearch Module)
- module: elasticsearch
  # Server log
  server:
    enabled: true

    # Filebeat will choose the paths depending on your OS.
    var.paths:
      - /app/elasticsearch/logs/*_server.json
 
  gc:
    enabled: false

What version of the Elastic Stack are you running? Have you enabled [watcher](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/watcher-ui.html) and followed the [configuration instructions](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/configuring-monitoring.html)?

Thanks for reply, using 7.8.0 ELK version with basic license.
