Hi Team,

Is there a plugin, which can assist me in downloading the contents of an elasticsearch index into a csv file?.

We currently are at elk stack 5.5.0.

XPack Reporting (commercial) can do that but I don't remember exactly in which version this is coming. May be 6.0 only?

Otherwise you can use logstash I believe for that:

- Input: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-inputs-elasticsearch.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-inputs-elasticsearch.html)
- Output: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-outputs-csv.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-outputs-csv.html)
