Hi,

In Kibana is it possible when creating a drill-down to a dashboard which contains a control, to set a value for said control ? The point is to use the same source dashboard for multiple drill-down links, each displaying different data, depending on control's value.

I'm sorry, but drilldowns are not supported in Controls. To carry over filters, you'll need to use a regular visualization and attach a drilldown to it.

Additionally, there's this open issue that seems very close to what you want to achieve, feel free to chime in and add any further details

>
> \*\*Feature:\*\*
> When navigating from one dashboard to another via Drilldowns or th…e Links panels, filters shouldn't be set as regular filter pills but instead preset the input controls as long as they exist in the destination dashboard.
>
> \*\*Nice-to-have:\*\*
> This can be made configurable via a flag in the Drilldown configuration and the Links panel creation. By default, this setting should be true, honoring the behavoiur described in this issue.
