# Duplicate logstash-\*

f there are two pattern's with same name, say for example

_logstash- (deafult)_\*

logstash-\*

* * *

field\_id shows up in _logstash- (_\* **default** **)**

FieldID shows up in logstash-\*

(Once we delete the non-default index **logstash-** \* , it will show up on **logstash-** \* **(**  **default** **)) .**

**Have you seen a similar issue before?**

What version of Kibana are you using? You might need to refresh the index pattern to update the fields. In recent versions of Kibana "refreshing the index pattern" is no longer needed.
