I create dashboards and want to move them between different environments on which I have elastic. What happens when I import the dashboard from one environment to another I get another filebeat index pattern. It is important to note that the environments are identical and were installed identically

Even if the environments are identical, Kibana creates new unique identifiers for all saved objects, so you get duplicated index patterns. To prevent creating new saved objects you'd need to edit the export file to swap the source data view ID by the identifier in the destination instance.

Hope it helps.
