# ECK Cost

As per the documentation ECK is opensource. But it is listed under enterprise subscription in [https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions). Is there any cost involving ECK ?

ECK is not licensed under an [open source license](https://opensource.org/licenses). ECK comes with a Basic license out of the box which means you can use the features in the [Basic license tier](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions) for free. To use any of the commercial features of ECK and the Elastic Stack you need an Enterprise subscription. ECK supports a trial mode that let's you test the commercial features for 30 days. Thank you for explanation. Is there a place i can find cost ( annual fee ) i need to pay for each subscription.

ECK only supports the free Basic license and the Enterprise subscription tier.
