# Elapsed\_expired\_error event is not generated

hi community

The `elapsed_expired_error` is not generated after waiting 300 secs  
here is elapsed filter config

> if "t1\_req" in [tags] or "t1\_res" in [tags] {  
> elapsed {  
> start\_tag =\> "t1\_req"  
> end\_tag =\> "t1\_res"  
> unique\_id\_field =\> "unique\_id"   
> periodic\_flush =\> true  
> timeout =\> 300  
> add\_tag =\> ["t1\_d0"]  
> }  
> }
