# Elastic 3node cluster elastic agent configurations

when elastic running on 3 node cluster and connect the elastic agents to node 1,what if node 1 is down and how to get the logs from agents that connect to node 1?

The `elasticsearch.hosts` setting can be used to specify multiple hosts as an option ([Fleet UI settings | Fleet and Elastic Agent Guide [7.16] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/fleet/current/fleet-settings.html)). Or if you have control over the DNS entries it can be used to point to multiple hosts.
