# Elastic Agent - Should give me the option of updating to 7.16.0

Hi @austinsonger depending how you installed the agent it's possible that agent upgrade is not available through Fleet, (docker container cannot be updated but also deb/rpm)

How these agents are installed?

Only one of them are a docker container and I knnow container agents can't be updated that way. The rest are all agents installed on Redhat Servers.

@austinsonger Which method did you use to install these agent on redhat using a tarball or using a package? I think only the tarball method will allow upgrade.
