# Elastic agent shows \`Input not supported error\` when configuring Fleet managed APM integration

**Kibana version** : 8.9.1

**Elasticsearch version** : 8.9.1

**APM Server version** : 8.9.1

I am trying to configure the apm server via [[Fleet-managed APM Server | APM User Guide [8.9] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/guide/current/_fleet_managed_apm_server.html)](Fleet managed APM).

However, when adding the APM integration into an elastic agent policy, the agent state turns unhealthy.

These are the logs for the elastic agent: Not sure why it keeps saying `input is not supported`.

I have not changed anything from the default settings when configuring the integration.

I am self-hosting `elastic, kibana` and the `fleet` server.
