# Elastic Agent SQL Integration

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is or are plans to have an SQL integration for the Elastic Agent that is basically ([SQL module | Metricbeat Reference [7.16] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/current/metricbeat-module-sql.html))? I'm looking have a recurring query to collect some information from a MSSQL server but would like to leverage the Elastic Agent if possible, rather than having to deploy a standalone Metricbeat for a single use.

I see [Create MS SQL package · Issue #626 · elastic/integrations · GitHub](https://github.com/elastic/integrations/issues/626), but am unsure if this issue is intended to cover executing SQL queries as looking at the current [MySQL integration](https://docs.elastic.co/en/integrations/mysql) it doesn't seem to support running queries as well.

It looks like the metrics dataset(s) haven't been migrated yet, just the audit logs. I suspect the intent is to migrate the metrics as well, it just hasn't been done yet.
