# Elastic Agent Synthetics integration - How to separate hosts in icmp monitor

Hi,

we want to start using the Synthetics integration to replace Heartbeats, but I'm not sure how to handle icmp monitors for different hosts in a single agent policy.

When I setup the integration in the policy with host "localhost", all hosts using that policy have the same monitor name in Uptime. It's not possible to find out, which host has a problem, as there's no difference in Uptime.

What is the best approach to get an usable result? I don't want to create separate policies for each host.
