# Elastic APM dropping spans in golang

Getting Error Dropped Spans with golang `elastic/apm/v2`, Check SC attached below,  
I have already set the [ELASTIC\_APM\_TRANSACTION\_MAX\_SPANS] to a very high number of 20000,  
But it is not showing any span in a transaction, I have properly added spans in the transactions.

Hi @ishan_khan,

Welcome! Thanks for sharing the steps you've already tried. Can you confirm which version of Elastic APM server you are communicating with using the v2 Go agent? Can you also share your agent configuration and any errors or warnings you're seeing in the logs?
