# Elastic Cloud with Filebeat

Hello!

We are developing a small project for which we have decided to use the Elastic Cloud service as a deployment for our product but we have a major doubt about data ingest.  
Currently we receive some data logs to our ftp server, and we use filebeat to access to our local folder and then Logstash to treat them.

I am aware that Logstash should be set up in our server, but could we configure Filebeat from Elastic Cloud so it access directly to the original FTP server?

Filebeat has to run locally.

Thank you for the answer @dadoonet !

Then, I think we'll go for a VM over AWS or GoogleCloud to run Filebeat + Logstash and from there, send the information directly to ECS. Do you think that would work fine?
