I have a dashboard read-only user. Is there a way to configure this dashboard in kiosk mode so the user gets automatically logged in? Thanks.

Hi @gnatola,

I think [anonymous access](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/anonymous-access.html) is potentially what you need to automatically login a user using that read-only user.

Let us know if that solves your issue.

Hi, Carly,

Thanks for the information. We have a cloud deployment of Elastic. There is no .YML file for me to edit. Is there any other solution?

Hi @gnatola,

The settings can still be applied on a cloud deployment using the _user settings_ option. So you can enter the required settings for anonymous access for `kibana.yml` there:
