# Elastic endpoint high CPU usage

I could observe high CPU usage by elastic endpoint in my machines. I also found that elastic agents CPU usage can be controlled using [Limit CPU usage](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/fleet/current/agent-policy.html#agent-policy-limit-cpu) option in elastic agent policy settings. Will this setting be applied to elastic endpoint also?

Are there any other ways to reduce CPU usage of elastic-endpoint?
