# Elastic search as mobile back end

Hello, just wondering, how would you implement elastic search as the back end for a mobile application? I have tables of data and I need to allow users of the app to search it and retrieve data and I don't know how to start....

Back end on the device itself, no.  
Back end on the server, sure.
