# Elastic Search Cluster is in yellow state due to a shard in an index always stuck in INITIALIZING mode

Below is my shard output,

I have tried restarting the node however its still not working, if its UNASSIGNED

I can fix that however its stuck as Initializing mode only, any suggestions plz

Check your master logs.

You can also remove the replica set and then readd a "new" one, it might help.
