# Elastic Search Inconsistent Query Performance Time

Hello,

We are using ElasticSearch for Search functionality where we have a combination bool queries, exists queries and aggregations we perform at one go.  
Lately, we noticed that the query performance times are inconsistent and varies from 200ms to 10s.  
We have 6nodes and 6shards  
19.9 million documents, 69GB data  
How do we go about debugging this performance issue ? Are there any obvious issues that I have to look at ?
