# Elastic Shard sizing

HI Team,

I have deployed the ELK ion the bubernetes, the Shard size of the elasticsearch is reached to the max limit, which is affecting the performance of the ELK.

Can anyone please let me know how to increase the size from 1000 to 2000.

I am totally new to the Elastic and could not able to increase the shard size.

Thanks for your help.
