# Elasticsearch 6.x on OpenShift 3

Hi all

we are trying to implement elasticsearch 6.x on Openshift 3?

But I see we have many disadvantages of doing so. I haven't seen much about support for openshift in documentation too.

Also, I read Installing ES on Openshift will make ES to loose few important features.

How far is this correct. can you please suggest?
