# Elasticsearch 7.2 slow query after update

Hmmm. If I read that [documentation issue](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/43724) and [its associated PR](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/43726/files) correctly, it looks like that setting `refresh_interval` should stop the "idle" behavior.

I don't know if it's an issue and I'd like to have @jpountz commenting on this before you open an issue.
