# Elasticsearch: Analyzer not working

Hi Team

I'm not sure why this is not working

```
PUT my_index
  {
 "settings": {
   "analysis": {
     "analyzer": {
       "test_analyzer": {
         "type": "standard",
         "stopwords": "_english_"
       }
     }
   }
 }
}

   POST my_index/_analyze
{
  "text": "The 2 QUICK Brown-Foxes jumped over the lazy dog's bone."
}

```

It's not removing the stop words\> Did I miss something?

You are not specifying which analyzer to use when you are calling the `_analyze` endpoint.
