# ElasticSearch and composite and filters

Why does composite searches not support filters?

can you be more exact what you are referring to here? Are you referring to composite aggregations? can you maybe add some more context to your question? What problem are you trying to solve? Maybe there is a workaround, but without digging deeper into the problem this will be hard.
