# Elasticsearch And Kibana Dashboard Ideas for a Hotel Booking and Guest Analytics System

Hello Elastic Community, I’m exploring how Elasticsearch and Kibana can be used for a hospitality/travel project related to a luxury budget hotel in Varanasi called [Hotel KB Palace](https://www.kbpalace.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com).

The idea is to build a small hotel analytics/search system where we can:

1. Track guest search behavior
2. Analyze room booking trends
3. Monitor active check-ins/check-outs
4. Create Kibana dashboards for hotel operations
5. Improve local travel search relevance for users searching hotels near ghats and temples

I found a few interesting discussions around hotel guest activity monitoring and search analytics in Kibana that seem close to this use case.

Currently experimenting with:

1. Elasticsearch indexing for hotel availability
2. Kibana visualizations for traveler activity
3. Search query monitoring
4. Geo-based hotel search filters
5. Occupancy and booking analytics dashboards

Would love to know if anyone here has worked on hospitality, booking, or travel-search related projects using the Elastic Stack. Any suggestions for index structure, dashboard ideas, or query optimization would be really helpful.
