# Elasticsearch does not work after security activation

In elasticsearch logs dir. it depends on how you installed it. Documentation says where they are depending on the package you installed.

Re format your code, logs or configuration files:

Use `</>` icon as explained in [this guide](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/about-the-elasticsearch-category/21) and not the citation button. It will make your post more readable.

Or use markdown style like:
