# Elasticsearch Engineer 1 lab access issue

Upon starting the course the first task is to start the lab. However the creds given to me do not work when attempting to log onto the strigo lab.

Hi @aerodynamic, where are you trying to use this credentials. First you should login to Strigo using the same email that you are registered in the course. Then, **already logged in to** Strigo, when you access the lab instructions you use those credentials. Does that make sense? If it does not solve, maybe you can share more details of the error you are having.
