# ElasticSearch + Hadoop

Good day,
I have no working experience with cloud computing but the concept seems to
be a promising solution for my problems. And since most of the data
processing that I will do is mostly about search & retrieve, I am currently
trying out Elasticsearch.
Anyway, I am currently trying out Elasticsearch + Hadoop, and I am getting
this:
[root@itools active]# ./bin/elasticsearch -f
> [09:36:05,044][INFO][node] [Andromeda]
> {Elasticsearch/0.8.0}[26099]: Initializing ...
> [09:36:05,057][INFO][plugins] [Andromeda] Loaded
> [09:36:07,481][ERROR][bootstrap] {Elasticsearch/0.8.0}:
> Initialization Failed ...
>
> 1. IOException[Call to localhost/127.0.0.1:50070 failed on local
> exception: java.io.EOFException]
Any ideas what could be wrong (or where I could get more information on the
exception)?

Don't mind me. I should have used 8020. 🙂
