# Elasticsearch install on windows

Hi ,

I have 2 environment for elasticsearch running on windows and Linux

In Linux we have an opertunity to put some argument in jvm startup by putting some entry in /etc/elasticsearch/config/jvm.options

Similarly I wanted to supply in windows but not able to find jvm.options file anywhere

Request to you please assist on the same
