# Elasticsearch not starting as a service in RHEL 8

Hi  
When I try to start elasticsearch using the following command, I get the following error message

[root@gefela ansible\_junos]# systemctl restart logstash elasticsearch kibana  
Job for elasticsearch.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
