# Elasticsearch OSS Docker Images

Hi All,

What is primary difference between Elasticsearch OSS and OSS Snapshot docker images. Any link to document will be very helpful.

Not sure what "OSS Snapshot docker images" means.  
But you need to know that from 7.11, only the default distribution is available. It contains a default basic license which gives you for free much more power/tools that you had previously. See [Subscriptions | Elastic Stack Products & Support | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions).

Thanks a lot @dadoonet for quick response. Much appreciated. I meant Elasticsearch OSS generic and Snapshot Images.

```auto
docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-oss:7.10.2
docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-oss:7.10-SNAPSHOT

```

So If I understand correctly from 7.11 onward no more images for OSS and only generic Images will be available used as part of basic or premium licences ?
