# Elasticsearch output indefinite retry on failure

Is there anyway to stop multiple retries for an Elasticsearch output? Essentially if it has to retry more than 3 or 5 times then it should give the stack trace or error logs and then just terminate as is. Essentially just looking to have it stop giving the infinite retries on fails.
