Hi, Can somebody please tell us if elastic- search shield plugin can work with node client ? If so, can somebody please provide us with some pointers

I would read this: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/java-api/current/client-connected-to-client-node.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/java-api/current/client-connected-to-client-node.html)

We don't recommend using NodeClient.  
Also be aware that in 5.0 we will provide a REST java Client.

does that mean with the java REST client we don't shield plugin ?
