# ElasticSearch slow performance

Hello,
we have elastic 7.4 running since a couple of years. We have detected a very slow performance every day at around the same time (it's not exactly at the same time every day, but almost). The monitor shows a sudden high latency (see picture). The data time insertion is then so high, that provoques us a really significative delay, as it lastas for several hours. We rotated to a new index and this seemed to help, but we still have this issues... any clue?

From the image you shared it seems that you are using the Elasticsearch managed service from AWS, which is a fork from Elasticsearrch and it is not supported here since it is has some changes made by AWS.
If this is the case, you need to check with the AWS support
