Hi,

I am trying to update my ES from 5.x to 5.y. Currently i am using 5.5.3 and eventually wants to upgrade it to 6.x. As i see that there is no current option to do rolling upgrade from 5.5.3 to 6 so i was thinking to upgrade it to 5.6 and then to 6 eventually. What i am not able to find is how to do the upgrade when i have nodes classified as data, ingest and master. What should be the order of upgrade?

Ideally it would be;

1. Master nodes
2. Data nodes
3. Ingest nodes
