# ElasticSearch User Migrations

Hi all,

I am migrating ElasticSearch cluster 7.2.0 to 7.6.2. The latter was deployed by ECK. Data and mapping don't really seem to have any conflicts. Now, there are two questions w.r.t users that I wanted to ask.

1. Is there any built-in feature to migrate the users from the old cluster to the newer one ?
2. With the cluster running image 7.6.2, I am not able to list any users via the api: /\_security/users  
so there is no way I am able to know if the migration did happen !

Any help will be appreciated !
